Application/Dosage

The application of Beckmann Weed Killer plus Lawn Fertilizer is possible throughout the growing season (April – September), but not in the sowing year. Apply during growing weather (humid-warm); do not apply during drought, heat, or soil temperatures below 8 – 10°C. Maximum one application per culture or per year.
Waiting period outdoors:
Lawn: Setting a waiting period is irrelevant.

Application Rates:


Dosage: 20g/m²

For even distribution, we recommend using a spreader. When applying by hand, best to spread once lengthwise and once crosswise with half the application rate (wear work gloves when applying/handling the product).

Application Notes:

  • Best applied in humid-warm weather 3-4 days after mowing when weeds have sufficient leaf mass. The lawn should be moist during application, water beforehand if necessary.
  • The fastest and best effect is achieved when Beckmann Weed Killer plus Lawn Fertilizer adheres to the weeds for 1 to 2 days. Rain or irrigation 2 to 3 days after application enhances the effect.
  • The lawn should not be mowed again until at least 7 days after treatment.
  • Other crops should not be affected, as damage may occur. Trees are not harmed.
  • Do not use the first two lawn clippings after application for mulching. Compost can be used after full composting.
  • The weed-killing agent has no lasting effect.
  • Treated lawn areas can be used as play and lounging areas only after the next mowing.
  • Harvested material/mowing material from the treatment year should not be fed to animals.
  • The product contains the active ingredients 2,4D and Dicamba: Mode of action (HRAC group): 0.

Wear work clothing (if no specific protective clothing is required) and sturdy footwear (e.g., rubber boots) when applying/handling plant protection products. Entering treated areas is not permitted for third parties during application and on the day of application.

Notes on environmental protection:


The use of the product in or near surface waters or coastal waters is not permitted (§ 12 paragraph 2 PflSchG). Regardless, the minimum distance to surface waters prescribed by state law must be observed.
Violations can be punished with a fine of up to 50,000 euros. Do not allow the product or its residue, emptied containers, or packaging, as well as rinsing liquids, to enter water bodies. This also applies to indirect entries via sewers, yard and street drains, as well as rain and wastewater channels. The product is classified as non-hazardous to bees up to the maximum application rate or concentration specified by the approval (B4). The product is classified as non-harmful to populations of relevant beneficial insects, predatory mites, and spiders. The product is toxic to algae and higher aquatic plants.
